Ok...I did it...I've updated the gallery.
Yes, 2 days after my news post I have done it!. So head over to the gallery and enjoy the nearly 200 screenshots of Title Cards and cut scenes. Thanks to whomever sent those to me...oh so long ago.
In other news, I just got this email informing me about the Spotlight Collection recall:
I called the Warner Home Video a number of weeks ago about the envelope for the Tom & Jerry replacement discs and they still haven't arrived. So, I just got off the phone with them and they said they are waiting until they get a certain number of orders before they send them out. She said maybe next week. So, I just thought I would let you know so that you can remind your readers that they sooner they order their replacement discs the sooner we all will get them.
Thanks Terry for letting us know!
Today is Sunday September 17, 2006...we are 6 days away from the Premiere of Tom and Jerry Tales on the KidsWB. Yay!
Aside from that I've updated the site! Yes, yes, I know...ABOUT FRICKIN' TIME YOU LAZY BUM!!! :-] anyway, I've added 2 news sounds (intro's to the 1975 and the 1980 cartoon shows) and 7 new images with more on the way...oh yes...a lot more. Someone sent me a whole bunch of screenshots that I completely forgot that I had. I stumbled upon them today :-] I should have them up sometime this week.
Today is the Anniversary of the Tom and Jerry show.
Yes, I know, it's not up to par with the original Hanna-Barbera, but nothing can. So with that I'd like to say:
HAPPY 31ST ANNIVERSARY!
(SEPTEMBER 6, 1975 - SEPTEMBER 6, 2006)
(SEPTEMBER 6, 1975 - SEPTEMBER 6, 2006)
Along with this anniversary greeting I have the intro to said cartoon show available on the videos page. Much Thanks goes to Coen for providing it for us!
AUGUST 28, 2006
Not sure if this will get noticed, but a Tom and Jerry fan has started a petition called "Do not censor Tom & Jerry" in response to last week's lunacy.
Check it out:
Do not censor Tom & Jerry Petition
Some reasonable news this week.
William over at The Digital Bits sent this little bit of news to me:
Warner Home Video has announced a disc replacement program for Tom & Jerry Spotlight Collection, Volume 2, due to complaints that some of the cartoons on the set were censored, when they were not supposed to be. For those who purchased Tom & Jerry Spotlight Collection, Volume 2, call (toll free) 1-800-553-6937 and give them your name, address and telephone number. A self-addressed stamped envelope will be sent to you so that you can return the old discs. You'll be sent corrected replacement discs within about 4 weeks. No word yet on the replacements for Spotlight Collection 1.
This offer is for U.S. residents only.
Thanks William for the info!
Today is August 25th.

British TV Channel Snuffs Out Cartoon Smoking After Complaint
Pretty soon there will be nothing left of the cartoons...just Tom sleeping on his pillow and Jerry sleeping in his bed. But someone will probably complain that it will promote over-sleeping and laziness in children.
Utterly ridiculous! I think William Hanna is rolling over in his grave!
Start buying the DVD's...even then there are edits...ugh..I'm depressed.
Today is a great day!
First and foremost, today is my anniversary! This has been a wonderful wonderful year!
Secondly, I just found out that McFarlane Toys has Tom and Jerry toys! Yup! You read it right...new Tom and Jerry Merchandise. Here are some helpful links for ya:

I've not had any time to devote to Tom and Jerry of late...I know, I know, SACRILEGE! But as always the case, real life interferes with internet life. I'm still working on the forum replacement..I should be re-opening the clubhouse soon.
I hope you guys can forgive me for not make many updates lately. My plate got exceedingly full.
