HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

To mark this joyous celebration I will be running a contest. I have 5 copies of Tom and Jerry: And the Magic Ring for Game Boy Advanced to give away. Look for the contest sometime this week! I'd have it up today, but seeing as how it's the 31st of December I don't have time to work on the contest....I'm getting ready for a New Year's Eve Party :-]

MERRY CHRISTMAS! HAVE A FESTIVE EID-UL-FITR(forgive me if I don't know the proper saying for the Islamic festival concluding the fasting of the month of Ramadhan)! HAPPY HANUKKAH! HAPPY KWANZAA! and if I missed any one HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

note these holiday references are in no particular order.

Anyway, I just wanted to wish all a merry season of celebration. So on this day of the 18th of December I've added lots of images! Most of them are from "Tom and Jerry: The Movie" with a few others thrown in the mix.

On a side note, this next couple of weeks are going to be hectic, so bewarned that I may not be able to answer emails in my usual timely manner. That's it for now, Have a Merry Holiday! I'm off to wait in line for "Fellowship of the Rings"! :-]

On December 3, 2001; following a tip from Sarah (thanks for the tip), there appears to be a new Tom and Jerry video to be released. It is called Tom and Jerry & the Magic Ring.

The link I was tipped to was:
http://www.blackstar.co.uk/video/item/7000000065939. Europe gets all the cool stuff cuz they had more Tom and Jerry releases than the US did. Ugh! as with the rest of the videos out there, they no longer carry them except the pre-order of the Magic Ring.

I headed over to Amazon.com to find more info. I found out that the release date is March of 2002. The flick is 62 minutes and will be released on VHS and DVD(region 1 only). More news on this as I hear of it. As for now, pre-order your copy today!

The end of the week, brings new things. Today, the 16th of November brings up 2 things.

1. I've added a new article to the music section. Though, I don't have much info on the song from "Baby Puss", it's still worth mentioning. So, if any one knows anything about "Mama Eu Quero" send me an email.
2. I added another link to the links page. It's a Hanna Barbera site called, Hair Bear Web.

The beginning of the week, brings new things. Today, the 12th of November brings up several things:

• I've added a new page to the gallery and fixed a few links in the gallery as well.
  
• I added another article to Hanna's obituary.
  
• I added the feature of archived news so you can check out the updates of the past
  
• I've also updated the videos section. I have put up a click from Tom and Jerry the movie.
  
• Added a section on Tom and Jerry games. This is just information and screen shots of various games that involve Tom and Jerry. However, there is only info on one game so far.

By the way, if you are feeling a little patriotic, and who isn't these days, check out Dubya-USA. They have lots of stuff with the American Flag on it.

Well, that didn't take long! I put up a new video today the 25th of October. It's the opening sequence to Tom and Jerry. It's no opening that I've ever seen. I guess when they showed the toons on TV they had different openings in different locations. So go the video section and check it out. Be warned! The file size is over 12 megs and it's in mpg format. Windows media player should be able to view it. On a side note, I was able to capture an image off that video. It's of the Canary and I put it in the character area.

I've added the William Hanna obituaries from the BBC, CNN, ABC, and Yahoo. I hope to have some video-clips up by the beginning of next month, so look out for them.

Today, October 10th of the year 2001, marks the launch of Tom and Jerry Online version 4. I've added new features, new images, and new information. I hope that you enjoy this new design. By the way, I have changed all html pages so if you bookmarked the pages chances are that they won't work.

With a new month comes some new news. I am announcing today, October the first 2001, that I'm am going to redesign this site. So what does it mean to you, well, I'll be changing a lot of file names so if you have certain pages bookmarked, chances are they won't work after the redesign. Don't worry, you can still get to the site by going to www.tomandjerryonline.com. I don't know when I'll implament the new design, know that it will be in the next couple of weeks though.

On August 28-29, 2001, I added more information to the Character Pages. There are some new additions don't have any pictures associated with them. But the information is all there, though there are still a few character bios that I haven't done yet. I'm also debating whether or not to redesign the site, I like the current design and all, but I think it's time for a change. I don't know when I'll change the design, but I'm just forewarning you.

Last night, August 21, 2001, I went to my mail box. Inside was my monthly Wizard magazine. What relevance does a comic book magazine have on Tom and Jerry and this site? Well, this month featured an article entitled "110 Greatest 'Toons" and they listed Tom and Jerry as number #15, though I think they should have gotten a higher number.

The updates just keep coming!!! I got some news for you Gamers out there. There is a new game coming out for Game Boy Advanced. It's done by NewKidCo. It will be called Tom and Jerry, The Magic Ring. It's Street date is Oct 28, 2001. So today July 27, you get to see some of the screen shots.

By the Way, Ambiances, a place out in France has Tom and Jerry Statuettes. You can find them in the Tex Avery section.
