William Hanna passed away march 22, at the age of 90, survived by his wife, Violet, a son, a daughter, seven grandchildren and, of course, Fred Flintstone, George Jetson, Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, Top Cat and too many other pen strokes of genius to mention. with his partner Joseph Barbera, Hanna all but invented TV cartoons, and if the duo never achieved the artistry or impact of Walt Disney, Hanna-Barbera Studios made a delightful contibution to pop culture. Hanna's legacy, like his colorful characters, won't fade anytime soon.
